Curcumin, extract 95% concentrate

Curcumin is the nutrient behind the many properties associated with turmeric, of great benefit to children and young people. 

A 2014 study concluded that curcumin complements the presence of DHA in the brain, essential for neuronal development and protection.

A patented blend of four natural ingredients. These are turmeric extract (with 95% curcumin, the active ingredient), grape seeds and olive leaves.

What is the difference between consuming Zimax® Junior versus consuming grated turmeric in cooking preparations?

Turmeric – ingredient of Zimax® Junior – is an excellent support for the growth and development of children.

Unfortunately, when consuming it as a grated food (bought in the supermarket), it is not possible to take advantage of its properties.

Curcumin, active ingredient in turmeric and responsible for its health benefits, has a bioavailability close to 1% in cooking preparations. The digestive system of children is not able to absorb it and the body eliminates it too quickly.

On the other hand, children don't always like the taste of turmeric or curry preparations.

Zimax® Junior should be taken once a dayafter breakfast or at some other time. It is not recommended to take it on an empty stomach.

Each pack of Zimax® Junior brings 30 servings for approximately one month of daily consumption.

How is Zimax® Junior taken? What does it taste like?

Zimax® Junior does not come as tablets. It is a light powder that can be mixed with a glass of water (4 to 6oz). 

Some parents can also mix it in preparations such as popsicles, parfaits, yogurts, fruit salads, smoothies, milkshakes and a long etcetera. This way of taking Zimax® Junior does not reduce its properties at all and can be a fun way to feed children.
